Happy diet: it works out!

Have you seen how many magazines invade our minds with diets at the moment? They clearly want women to buy all these weird stuffs to drink or to eat made for diets. So ladies, I’ve got to tell you the truth: don’t spend your money with that! There are some simple things to lose weight and feel fine again to prepare your body for your new swimsuit! So gentlemen, if ever you’re concerned by the way to be at your best the next season, I think you’ll find here some tips which could help you too!

1/ You have to draw a deadline (your fitness program will have to end someday!) and get a strong determination. What do you want to do exactly? For example, “I want to lose 11 lbs before the 1st of June”. It means you have to start now to reach your aim.

2/ You must think you’ll be very happy after your fitness program: imagine your new look, the sports you’ll do, your new seduction, etc. You have to project yourself in that new you. It’s very important, because it will help to build your determination. Think about a special garment you’d do like to wear again, and imagine how awesome you are with it. You can do that with any clothes you’d like to buy too. By this way, you make your change happen.

3/ The best diet is your’s, not the one of a moving star nor your best friend’s one. Why? It means you’ll be comfortable with your own diet because you perfectly know who you are, what are your favourite foods (bad and good ones), your limits, and power. Who could know you better than yourself? Trust in you, in your inner power. So who’s going to do the job? You or someone else?

Then it’s easier to create harmony and love with that new fitness program. So you could call it differently: “my new me”, “my new shape”, “my love program”, ‘the best of me”, etc. Find out the name you want for your new intention. It anchors it in a new reality.

4/ Be honest with yourself: too much sugar, fat and carbohydrates are not good to lose some weight. You have to make a balance between them. Start hard for a week or two, however: only steamed veggies, and a few proteins. No fat, no sugar, no dairy products, no fruits. But you can use soy milk or other soy products with sugar free. Drink a lot of water during a day, sleep early, and love your body and mind mostly! Tell them how you’re happy to be on the way to a new you. You’ll find yourself in a great happiness and avoid any blocking. After these two weeks, you’ll notice how much you feel fine again, with more energy and self-confidence. That’s just because you put a lot of love in your intention of change.

5/ Be indulgent: if ever you need to eat pasta during your starter time, do it! Don’t feel guilty. Just bless that meal before eating, and enjoy this moment! It doesn’t mean you’re not motivated, but that your body and mind need some more time to accept the change. Be confident: your will is still here. You’ll be on your way of diet at the next meal and the following.

So my dear HappinesShakers, if ever you don’t feel fine at the moment, please, wait a few weeks to start. You’ll take it easier later. The best time is the one you’ll feel by yourself. So remember that being on a diet doesn’t mean you have to starve all the day long! Eat intelligent: make you happy by eating only your favourite food that’s good for your diet. Add some spices, change the way to cook your meals, and always feel quiet when you eat. You do all that for yourself: it’s not a punishment!
