Sometimes you can read somewhere “love doesn’t need any word”, and people are at ease with that phrase, because it means anyone can live as they want. We all need proofs of love, so “I LOVE YOU” remains the best way to talk about our feelings. But many times, I can hear someone say “I need acts, not words actually” which means talking about love isn’t necessarily. So we’re living in such a consuming market of love that these last words have become useless for the benefit of some expensive gifts as proofs.
However deep and true feelings don’t need anything more to exist. Maybe those who need to buy expensive gifts for their lover aren’t confident enough about their ability to love… So on the contrary, maybe those who don’t offer their lover any gift consider themselves as the best gift ever! In the both ways, excess is not the proof your love is sincere, isn’t it?
There are many ways to show someone you love them, simply, in some daily little acts of love. It depends on you, the way you are, the way you want to be loved in return. Since when didn’t you cook for your lover? Since when didn’t you drive them to a nice place you both like? Since when didn’t you get a walk together on the beach at sunset, or in a beautiful square garden? It’s saying… Most of the time, simple things are the best! They are often spontaneous and followed by great effects in daily life.
Respect and joy create happiness and make your relationship very beautiful, deep and secure. You don’t need to do an awesome stuff to be loved, especially if you want to be loved for who you are, and certainly not for who you seem to be.
As a woman, don’t overestimate seduction: your man prefers you on the morning, naked, with no make up and no hair dressed. He likes you smiling, beautiful but not sexy (you’re not a doll nor a playmate), smart and well educated, but not stupid as a goose. He’s in love with you because you are exactly the person he feels fine with. No matter your wrinkles, your age, your weight. Don’t focus on that. He just wants you as you are.
On another side, dear men, don’t look back: your hair is gone and nothing could make them grow again, but notice as you became a good do-it-yourselfer, a nice father or a great lover! That woman you love is yours. Ok, you can offer her a gift sometimes, you know, something like a ring or a cruise, but never forget that the best gift in her life is a daily you: give her a smile, a tender gesture, pay attention to what she says (at least for ten minutes, babe!). Then sometimes put on your sexy old blue jean and the shabby tee-shirt of Nirvana she does likes, that means “look as I love you!”… You’re going to be again the man of her life… I swear!
Love,
Jane
